Dafora at the first Algerian-Romanian Economic Forum
Dafora participated at the first Algerian-Romanian Economic Forum, which took place between September 10-14, 2017. During the event, several interactive economic presentations took place about the possibilities offered by the two countries to foreign investors.
The business meeting was held under the patronage of the Ambassador of Algeria in Romania, Ms. Taous Djellouli. His Excellency expressed confidence that such events contribute significantly to establishing healthy and stable trade relations between Romania and Algeria:
“The Algerian and Romanian business communities must combine their efforts by growing their economic partnership and demonstrating that a win-win relationship is possible.”
On his turn, the President of the FCE INTERNATIONAL and the Chambre Algeríne of Commerce and of the French Industry, Mr. Kacem AIT YALLA wanted to emphasize the favorable situation in Algeria for Romanian investors:
“Moreover, the Association Agreement between Algeria and the European Union, in force since 2005, can constitute a significant asset in the implementation of privileged partnerships, in view of the unlimited needs and opportunities that are thus open to Romanian and Algerian companies. The attractiveness of Algeria for investment in partnership is also served by the fact that our country applies the Arab Free Trade Agreement; thus, we can produce together in Algeria and sell throughout the Arab zone. ”
The participants presented their own business activities. Thus, on the second day of the business mission, several Algerian and Romanian delegates made a visit to the 360 Tintea well from Baicoi, Prahova County, drilled by Dafora.
Upon the meetings, an Agreement Document was signed by the President of the FCE INTERNATIONAL and the Chambre Algeríne of Commerce and of the French Industry, Mr. AIT YALLA Kacem and by the representative of the Romanian Asosiation of the Private Businessmen, Mr. CALBUREAN Gheorghe.
As there are positive results after the meeting, during the period 21-25 April 2018 there will be a visit to Algeria and there will be discussions for collaboration with companies from the energetic field.
